Scenario Design Competition

The KapCon Scenario Design Competition was created to encourage the formal production of roleplaying scenarios in New Zealand, and to be able run those scenarios at KapCon!

The Scenario Design Competition Rules can be read on the main Kapcon site and anyone interested in entering the current Competition should go there to see the current closing dates and oher details. Enter Now!

Many of the authors have graciously consented to making their scenarios available on this site for you to download and use. To view the scenarios you will need a copy of Adobe's Acrobat Reader, version 2.1 or later. This can be downloaded from Adobe's web site by clicking this button:

The winner of the 2004 competition was Donna Giltrap, with her riveting Little Fears scenario "The Millers Children". The third year of competition was once again judged by the award winning fantasy author Dale Elvy.

We hope to make copies of the 2004 entries available here soon.

The winner of the 2003 competition was Matt Cowans with his suitable scary Amnesia This was the second year of competition, and was again judged by Dale Elvy.

For the first time, KapCon XI ran a scenario design competition which was won by Richard Love, with the hugely enjoyable The Tower . Award-winning fantasy author and well-known KapCon best GM winner Dale Elvy judged the competition.
