For the past month the Victorian city of London has been plagued by a series of gruesome murders. The victims are bankers, industrialists, scholars and the lower echelons of the nobility: the pillars of the community.
All of the victims are members of the exclusive Gentleman's Club Witherton's, and all connected by their conspicuous philanthropy towards the poor and displaced of London and Ireland's slums. Only 6 members of the club remain, and all have gone into hiding, praying to God that their lives will be spared.
