February 2005, London. A small but highly trained team of MI5 agents are hard at work shuffling papers at Thames House, HQ of the British Security Service when they get called to an urgent briefing. A suspected terrorist has been spotted buying large quantities of fertiliser despite having no previous interest in gardening. The team are tasked to investigate and are about to find out that the war on terror is more complicated than they ever imagined...
