Tower of Temptation is a hack of Dread about the followers of a just, but forgotten god.
We will use block pulling game (such as Jenga)
In this game gods derive not only their power but their identities from those who have faith in them. A god who is worshiped by many is a powerful god. A god who is believed to represent war is a war god. As you perform deeds in your god’s name, you will have the option of resisting temptation and keeping belief in your god pure, or giving in to sin to accomplish your goals, thus corrupting your god through others’ perception of them.
You will seek to restore your god to glory by converting others to your cause while balancing the temptation of power with the core identity of your god. We will create our chosen setting and religion on the day.
Word has reached the town of Old Prados that Wade Dupree and his gang, the famed outlaws, are hiding out nearby in Drymill Gulch. The sheriff has rounded up a posse of gunslingers and concerned citizens to bring these murders and robbers to justice, but in order to get there, your group will need to traverse the dangerous gulch at sunset - the only time of day the heat is bearable. Don't pay any attention to that rustling, pardner. That's just a snake in the brush.
Heading out into the desert for a camping trip seemed like a great idea. You're all perfectly aware of how dangerous it is out there, yeah, but you know what you're doing - you've done it before, and you're teenagers, which makes you indestructible, right?
What a shame it's not just the desert that you have to contend with out here. There's something here with you, and you're not sure what it is, but it only comes out after dark...
[The Sun over Mesa Amarillo is a Dread scenario for six players, about lights in the sky, bloodthirsty monsters, and conspiracies]
The sun has been blazing over Mesa Amarillo all day, and you have been out in it, trying to find the perfect spot to camp. You are out and away from it all for two nights - away from WiFi, away from traffic lights, away from rent payments and breaking news. It's been hours since you've seen a Starbucks. Out here, it's just you, your friends, the desert, and the blistering sun.
Only... there's something else out here, too. Out on the horizon. And whatever it is, it owns this desert.
