PrisonCorp 13-316-66. A prison planet home to the sector’s toughest, meanest and cruellest. Recently the lights went out. As a member of the Marine Reconnaissance Unit you're the best of the best. But this place holds secrets, secrets you don't want to face. Can you find out what happen? And survive to tell about it?
Greetings troubleshooters. Welcome! You slimy, newly synthesized clones, to Alpha Complex!
Your best friend and benefactor is the omnipotent, omniscient omnivore AI - Friend Computer. As a hyperintelligent AI, naturally he has better things to do than to solve the issues plaguing you troublesome remnants of humanity, so...
That’s where you come in, troubleshooter! You have been stuck with the important job of bringing a Hallowed Programmer to fix an issue with Friend Computer’s master terminal. Where is this located? Well that’s classified, above your clearance level. And what are you so interested for? Next you’ll want to know how to get there, and who you’ll be going with. Why do you want to know so much information? Sounds like something a communist spy would do! Know your clearance. Anything above your clearance is none of your concern. Anything below? Well that’s up to you to decide.
Paranoia is a classic RPG from 1984. A relic from a world still recovering from the red scare and the cold war. Filthy traitorous communists are your enemy. Treachery is all around. It’s as much a game of you versus the environment as you versus the other players. After all, how would it look to Friend Computer if you let them steal all the glory?
No prior game knowledge is required, but useful (And also illegal, how did you get a copy of that knowledge? That’s beyond your clearance!) Prior roleplaying experience preferred, though a willingness to betray each other and argue profusely will do. Not to be taken seriously!
The Commodore wants a Xenobiologist, despite already having one. To entice this Dr Olipolious, she’s sending Harlequin, her current Xenobiologist, to meet with him and make him a job offer. The offer is so sensitive and secret that they must meet in person, which means Harlequin must leave the relative safety of the Commodore’s over-juiced pocket Battleship despite the enticing price on her head… and go to a science conference.
The conference is aboard an upmarket space station in the middle of nowhere. Conference security is minimal and most of the other scientists won’t be conventionally armed. Your job is simple: take Harlequin to the conference, don’t let anyone kill her, ensure the meet happens in privacy, then escort both Harlequin and Dr Olipolious back to your ship.

Set in the universe of the now complete webcomic Schlock Mercenary, Planet Mercenary is a fast paced and hopefully humorous game about trying to make money by shooting people, or in this case by attending a perfectly innocent science conference.
Knowledge of the game system is not needed, knowledge of the comic is a bonus!

The capitol ships need repairs, but the price of materials has skyrocketed. The Commodore doesn’t want to afford it and has decided to turn a few idle ships and crews to the task of looking for salvage during the refit.
That would be you.
She’s had analysts scour the hypernet for every salvage rumour they can find and given you a list. Your freshly recruited crew were rival gangs last week, your fellow officers are… special, and you’re learning first-hand just how much empty the universe has in it. But hey, at least no-one is shooting at you. Right now.
The media circus following your unprecedented success on Khilosh has finally begun to die down and you have all begun the daunting task of trying to upscale your personnel to match your new fleet. Naturally it’s at this delicate time that your past returns to haunt you, with a desperate request from your uncle. He wishes to retire, and he needs an escort away from the remote mining operation he’s managed on behalf of the family for nearly two decades. The media will whip themselves into a frenzy at the very idea of you all becoming involved in family business again, but he was the only one who supported you when you wanted out and you owe him.
All you need to do is show up with enough firepower to deter his opponents without spooking them so you can get Uncle Vasso and his immediate family off the mining station with their fortune and without anyone getting shot on either side because you don’t want a family feud…. without the media finding out. What could go wrong?

Set in the universe of the long running webcomic Schlock Mercenary, Planet Mercenary is a fast paced and hopefully humorous game about trying to make money by shooting people but in this instance your job is to minimise the chaos. Good luck with that.

You’ve gone from being a down on your luck band of misfits to having an old but remarkably functional warship full of stolen technology. What are you going to do with it?

2277, May 17, Asteroid Habitat Aoraki Mountain, Captain's Address to Crew:
"People, we've done this before. The system newcomer Oblivion, whatever its mass, is just another flying rock. Killing rocks is our trade - we have the technology, the manpower, and the will. Earth will not fall on our watch."
2278, April 4, Asteroid Habitat Aoraki Mountain, Captain's Address to Crew:
"... in light of Oblivion 3's failure due to catastrophic equipment malfunction, technical crews will be inspecting Aoraki's infrastructure early this year. We trust that our crew will behave in the spirit of Aoraki as Oblivion passes through our orbit..."
2278, April 4, Captain's Private Log
"This isn't over."
For more than a hundred years the people of Earth and its surrounding space habitats have been fighting the Rock War - a collection of solid masses are passing willy-nilly through the Solar System, many of which could profoundly damage the mother planet. Most have been neutralised - humanity is winning! But now the largest planet-killer of them all, code-named Oblivion, has defeated the last three attempts to divert it. Soon it will pass through the orbit of Asteroid Habitat Aoraki Mountain, almost close enough to see, and the Captain has one last desperate gambit in mind...
But oh - this will cost. Join the habitat's officers in the last two hours before an irrevocable decision is made. Sometimes there aren't any good choices.
What compromises will you make, in the Face of Oblivion?

Hollywood: the glitz, the glamour, the grim. The Esoteric Order of Dagon's influence spreads through this town like a foul tide, eroding its foundations and sinking us faster into chaos. But what is chaos in a town where death is just a morbid sideshow or an unnoticed back-alley mistake?
People don't see what we see walking the streets every day. There are such things as monsters. In order to protect you, we have chosen to become that which threatens you - bonding ourselves to otherworldly symbiotes called Tagers.
You may be just as scared of us as you are of them, but better the devil you know...
