KapCon is a not-for-profit convention, but like most such conventions, still requires you to pay a fee and register your attendance. The fee is needed to pay for the venue, top up the prize pool, and pay for all the other incidental costs such as postage, copying, plastic cups etc.
While we would be glad to waive all fees if some kind soul would offer to cover our budget for us, registration would still be neccessary, and pre-registration is preferable Please take the time to pre-register, as the organizers need to make estimates on the number of people who will be attending to try to ensure there is enough space, enough games, enough coffee, etc., and the more people who register, the more accurate those estimates can be.
Registration fees for KapcCon XII in 2003 are :
Player | $ | 25.00 |
StoryTeller/GameMaster: | $ | 15.00 |
Live Game only | $ | 5.00 |
Late Entry Surchage | add $ | 5.00 |
To avoid payment of the late entry surcharge KapCon must recieve your registration before the final cut off date of January 1st 2003. If we recieve your registration after this date, or you just turn up on the day, you will have to pay an extra $5.00.
KapCon endeavours to keep fees down so that as many people as possible can afford to attend. We feel that the cost compares very favourably to other entertainments that cover two days and a night.
There are several ways of registering, and thus avoiding the late entry surcharge.
