Just added a tentative timetable for people to argue over, and updated the Twelfth Night cast page.
Just added seven more games to the Games page, Erik Andersen's Lost And Found , Michael Foster's The Travelling Vampire Show , and Dale Elvy's Hunger .
Then we have four (count them, four) games from James Flowers, two Lord of the Rings games, Hunting the Hunters and A Dilemma of Sorts along with two Engel D20 games, The First Test and Grim Truth
This brings our total number of individual games to a massive thirty eight. And we know we're likely to get at least two more games, we just haven't received blurbs from the GM's yet.
Thanks to all those GM's who have put themselves forward to run games!
I've also added some references to local costume hire locations to the LARP costuming page.
Firstly the bad news. Zak Clarke is not going to be able to attend KapCon this year, so has had to withdraw his Zombie's Picnic game. Also, for those wanting to play Luke Walker's Mechanical Dreams game in the first round, it is now fully subscribed. There's only one space left for Nobilis as well.
But the good news is that two stalwart people have stepped forward and volunteered to run their games in the first round. Thanks to Dan L'Estrange and Michael Foster for offering to fill the gap with CIA and Burying the Hatchet respectively.
If you had chosen either Zombie's Picnic or the earlier cancelled Tomb of Horrors game in your pre-registration, please accept our apologies, and feel free to update your preferred first round game by sending an email to KapCon Administration.
Nick Cole has offfered to run a Buffy the Vampire Slayer game entitled Chimera. and Nigel Ngan has offered us a third game(!!) Elite Operations
We are sorry to say that due to lack of interest it is uneconomical for us to proceed with t-shirts for Kapcon 12. Those who have already paid money for t-shirts will be contacted by us shortly and their money refunded. Thank you to those who showed interest and we hope to be able to offer t-shirts again next year.
Just added Michael Foster's Burying the Hatchet to the Games page
We've added some more Twelfth Night characters, and a few more have been allocated to players. All those who have been allocated characters will recieve more informatiom about their character prior to the event, and are welcome to ask questions of the producer.
A new Call of Cthulhu game has been added here, and some new links have been added to the Period Details page for Twelfth Night
We've added the option to choose an RPGA-run game as your first round game to the registration form.

Some of the players for roles in the Twelfth Night LARP have been confirmed, and are displayed on the Cast page.
A link to a hypertext version of Twelfth Night has been added to the Twelfth Night page
We've had confirmation and details from Jarrat Hely, the local Decipher volunteer rep, that he will be running his Lords of Gondor game as a demonstration of the new Lord of the Rings RPG. This is not the cut-down, simple, game released earlier in the year, but a very nicely produced RPG.
Conan McKegg has provided a blurb for is Nobilis game, Station at the End of the World .
Also, I've added a few more suggestions to the Costuming on the Cheape page.
The well known Wellington second-hand bookstore Bizy Bees has become a KapCon XII supporter. They will be providing some freebies for our con attendees. For those who know them, be aware they are moving to new premises in Manners St.
Just recieved information on another game from Conan McKegg, Terror at Camp Waka' Naka.
We've had a couple more people tell us of games they are willing to run. Matt Cowtrap will be running Amnesia , and Nick Adams will be runnning a game based on Stephen Donaldson's Thomas Covenant series.
Also, I've addd a work-around on the online regisration form to deal with a standards compliance bug in Mozilla, I.E6, and Phoenix, so if you haven't been able to use the online regisration form, give it another go now.
Please remember to let webmaster know if you run into any problems with the site.
Unfotunately, one of the first round games, Tomb of Horrors has been cancelled because an adjudicator has become unavailable for the Kapcon weekend. This game has been replaced with Zak Clarke's Zombies Picnic
We have also added a link from the games page to the games that the RPGA will be runnning for Kapcon.
We've got description for Mike Sand's Godlike game, Operation Weasel and Donna Giltrap's Call of Cthulhu game, Gilman House
Online registraton is now operational. You now have no excuse not to preregister!
Added or updated a couple more game descriptions to the Games page.
First batch of live game characters added.

We have had several more crazy people volunteer to run games, and some of them have even provided us some blurbs about the games they will be running! Thanks to those people who have volunteered, and to everyone else, we need you to run games or we don't have a convention! If there is anyone else out there wanting to run a game, please tell our co-ordinator. Remember you can get a discounted registration if you are running a game.
Well, you've probably noticed the change to the colour scheme and the logo. We've modified the site to match the design of the T-shirt
Speaking of which, the Kapcon XII t-shirt design is unveiled here.
Also, we now have the KapCon XII flyer avalailable for download in PDF format. Look for these to appear in a local gaming shop near you soon. If you don't see them in your local shop, let us know
