Wellington's Annual Roleplaying Convention - 20th & 21st January, 2007
Kapcon in 2007 will be held at the normal location : Wellington High School
The social gathering on the Friday night has been was a great success in the past, so we are planning to do it again next year. But this year's location was dissapointing food-wise, so we wil likely be in another location, possibly Syn. We'll update when this is confirmed
Wellington High School is at the top of Taranaki Street. Go thru Gate 1 and follow signs to Office.
At a minimum, we will be repeating last year's selection of drinks and pre-packaged foods, and doing fish & chips runs. Feel free to make suggestions or volunteer to organize more!
Wellington High School is approximately fifteen to twenty minutes walk or a short ($1) bus ride from the Courtenay Place entertainment district where you will find almost every form of eatery and drinking establishment.
There is a MacDonalds Family Restaurant somewhat closer in Adelaide Road, along with a number of other fast food establishments

There is a wide variety of accomodation available within walking distance (or a short bus ride) of the venue. These include :
