Exes, they're always trouble. Makes you wonder why you bother to get involved with anyone, ever. "Mendokusai." as Keiko the anesthetist would say "Too much trouble". This one for instance. There you were in the ER OR, and one of your exes gets wheeled in. Jared, the driver wheeling the gurney shrugs an apology. Your ex a real mess, just like always, and you sigh, and start reassembling him like you always used to.
Then you hear a gunshot from outside and an orderly falls thru the door into your OR, rudely followed by thugs with guns. It's about then that you lose control. Some people have no common sense. Haven't they heard this is YOUR OR, and you do not take kindly to breaches of hygiene protocol!
The fools wave their guns at you, demanding the body of your ex. Jared looks up at you and grins, knowing that look on your face. Keiko raises her eyebrows and, surreptitiously, turns up the oxygen. You start counting in time to the waltz on the OR's speakers. "1... 2... 3", and the first mook screams and clutches at the handle of the scalpel protruding from his eye-socket, the gun he was holding forgotten and falling to the floor....
When you work in the shadows of the chrome monoliths, you take whatever work that floats down to the streets from the boardrooms and big-data expert systems. Sometimes you're paid to extract a corporate employee from his former employer. Sometimes you have to recover employees who have been newly reemployed by a new employer. Sometimes its data... missing and in need of recovery, or located and in need of appropriation. Every now and then the job's just straight out wetwork.
But the simple ones never turn out to be that simple. Better pack extra stimpatches.
The Sprawl is an apocalypse-powered game of mission-based action in a gritty neon-and-chrome cyberpunk future. You are the extended assets of vast multinational corporations, operating in the criminal underground, and performing the tasks that those multinationals can’t do, or can’t be seen to, do. Deniable, professional, and ultimately disposable.
This is a scenario for Edge of the Empire, an RPG focussing on the scoundrel and scum of the Star Wars universe. It sees a ragtag band of smugglers, slicers, outlaws and exiles struggling to overcome their ever-deepening obligations to shadows of the underworld.
Shadows of a Black Sun is based on the 2013 Free RPG Day scenario of the same name and is especially suitable for new RPGers, Star Wars fans, people interested in Edge of the Empire and those who prefer to shoot first.
Talos IV, the most advanced space station in this region of the Bleed, faces destruction.
Karia Darsell, intergalactic terrorist and unstoppable assassin has posted a warning - Talos IV and everyone onboard will be destroyed unless her demands are met in the next 24 hours. The problem is no one knows exactly what those demands are...
So it is up to our Heroes, the Lazers (the region's freelance police), to not only stop this terrorist threat, but also find out who or where Karia is hiding, and what has made her so angry.
This adventure is a science fiction game using the Ashen Stars (GUMSHOE) system. Combining action and investigation it is set-up as a race against time, in which the character's actions will determine whether or not the space station is saved and just who might survive. It would best suit players wanting a challenging investigative (GUMSHOE at its heart is a investigation game) roleplaying experience where they will have to make hard choices and difficult decisions.

This summer your favourite super-franchise delivers another action-packed episode:
For seven years the planet has enjoyed peace and security thanks to the magnificent efforts of the reunited Council of Champions. When we mark Champion Day this January 23rd, we give thanks to the all-American hero Captain Hope, British super-genius Professor Eternity, Spanish gun-slinger Salvo, the giant Ground Zero, and all the other champions who risk their lives to safeguard global prosperity.
Things haven’t been going smoothly for the champions of late; twenty six passenger planes have gone missing during the last month - creating a world-wide panic, while temporal distortions have been wrecking havoc in the streets of the world’s most populous cities. Then there’s Hope and Eternity’s teenage son Daniel’s very public rift with his parents, which has been tabloid fodder for months, and the reported production problems and cost overruns with Captain Hope’s grandiose biopic.
Will the Champions manage to master this latest mysterious malevolence?
Can our protagonists prevent pandemonium or will personal predicaments prevail?
Find out at Kapcon XX on January 23rd...
This game will be run in round 4, with an option for an extra run in round 6 if there’s sufficient demand. For more information about what has gone before check the Council of Champions blog at: www.councilofchampions.blogspot.com

The life of a Sentinel is never easy. You are run by an illicit organisation with the goal of saving Transhumanity from itself and other threats.
You had been hoping for some downtime but floating above Venus you know you are in for a very long day *...approximately 2793 old terran hours...* your muse softly whispers in the recesses of your mind.
This game will be exploring what it means to be 'human'. There will be action and humour but we will touch on ideas and concepts that could make people uncomfortable.
As a member of the elite Marine Reconnaissance Unit it’s your job to check out the worst places and do the toughest missions. So it’s no surprise that you’re on a shuttle heading down to PrisonCorp planet 13-316-66 to find out why the lights have gone out. But will you survive to find out the truth?
The world has changed since the end of season 7. The Slayers have gotten all organisey and missiony but there are a few newly awoken slayers that aren't part of the plan. They still live with their folks, struggle with math and try to get by at school. One such slayer is trying to avoid flunking school and do their bit to keep the world safe, now if only they hadn't been grounded for smoking...
Yes I'm running it again, with some twists....
