Costuming

We are aiming for a pretty general post-apocalyptic feel. This means costume could be anything you'd see in a Mad Max film, on The Tribe and so on. Basically anything goes as long as it looks either old and tattered or homemade. And occasionally just weird, like Tina Turner's bizarre chainmail getup in Thunderdome.

We organisers will be preparing a selection of bits and pieces to help out those who have a prop deficit.

In particular, we have a promise of some mutant makeup from Norman Cates, who should be able to impressively mutantise anybody if his past work is any indication.

We'll also be providing a selection of appropriate toy weaponry for those that don't have any. You'll be told what (if anything) your character is packing with the character information. If you don't have a suitable prop, one will be provided for you.
