Steve Jackson Games have recently released the latest (4th) edition of the justly famous GURPS . We'll be discussing this system and how it has crossed setting and genres for far longer and with greater technical success than d20.

Steve Jackson Games is also famous for other roleplaying games such as In Nomine, Munchkin, Discworld, and the new Hellboy. They are also known for interestng board and card games such as Frag, Dork Tower, and Illuminati!, as well as classic war games such as Ogre, and Car Wars, A selection of these games wil be available for players to play.

The RPGA, or Role-Playing Games Association is a world-wide organization run by Wizards of the Coast to support it's product lines. These days this is primarily D&D 3rd Edition but includes support for older versions AD&D and newer games such as Star Wars D20.

The local branch has regularly supported KapCon, both by organizing games and donating prizes. For a more local look at the RPGA, the website of the Asia-Pacific branch of the RPGA is here.

They are responsible for the operation of the Living Greyhawk shared campaign world among others. The part of Living Greyhawk assigned to New Zealand is Perrenland
