Ordo City, 1925

Beneath the floors of the magnificent MacAllister Hotel, you'll find the Dreamer’s Club, a speakeasy frequented by the city's most interesting figures. It's a place where authors, performers, and even the law's undesirables can rub shoulders and enjoy a drink while watching the latest in world-class mind-boggling entertainment. You don't need to believe in "magic" or "ghosts" to be awed by these unbelievable acts!

Tonight should be like any other night. Unfortunately, someone is going to get murdered.

Will you be the one to drag the truth into the light? Or, perhaps, will your focus be elsewhere, busy with far grander mysteries? Just don't ask too many questions about the mysterious figures that keep the club running...

It's time for the dreamers to wake up.

You are the Grinning Ravens gang, a group of up-and-coming gangsters in Doskvol, a haunted Victorian city. Trapped between the leviathan-demons of the inky-black Void Sea and the anti-ghost lightning fence, the Grinning Ravens must seize their fortune from whomever stands in their way.

Will you go up against the Spirit Wardens, the bronze-masked anti-ghost squad? Or will you support them in their war against the Dimmer Sisters and the street-witches? Will you seek enough coin to live out your retirement comfortably, or push for fame and glory? Will you succumb your vice, your traumas, or plain old gunfire, or will you live to run another score?

A fast-paced, fiction-first game of heists, ghosts, flash-backs and making it all up as we go along.

System experience useful but not required. Younger and teen players are welcome, but the game as-written requires you to feel comfortable saying "NOPE!" to the GM.

You are the Captains of Frankie Ciserello's gang, a subsidiary organisation under the general administration of Alfonse Capone. It's been a good couple of years, liquor, girls, gambling everything was at an all time high, then the feds moved in and it all started to go belly up. First Big Al went down, then a few more Captains from around the city, now everybody is nervous. People are getting wary. Your little empire is tight, everybody knows everybody but still, secrets have been leaked, damage has been done and if something ain't done about it you're all goin' down. It's time to rattle some cages, call in some favours and get to the bottom of this, else you're all heading for the Big House. One thing's for sure tho, don't trust nobody!

Burying the Hatchet

Facilitator:
Michael Foster

The London criminal underworld is ruled with an iron fist (wearing knuckle dusters) by Neil "Sharky" Baxter and all has been peaceful in his realm since he put an end to his arch-rival Vince "the Hatchet" Carver in a fiery conflagaration. But now someone is stirring up trouble and rumour on the street is that the Hatchet is back for revenge.
It's up to Sharky's top men; Don and his hand-picked gang of nutters Kev, Desmond, Lance and Weasel; to embark on a head-stomping, finger-crunching, face-searing orgy of violence to discover the truth and finally bury the Hatchet!
