The Babysitters Club

Facilitator:
Martijn Verburg [karianna]

Down on your luck and desperate for any sort of paid gig, you and your intrepid group of 'heroes' spy a well paid job on the local noticeboard.

"Mercenary Guards wanted for security at Lord Chadsworth Farquat's 18th Birthday Event! Candidates should make themselves available to the Guard house at Farquat manor at the first bell on the 13th of Jules. 10gp per guard for the day's work."

Lord Farquat is the heir apparent to the Farquat's, an ancient founding house of the sprawling metropolis of Eisenberg. His estate is on the Noble's promenade, close to the Sanguine Gates that lead to the lower city. It will be a dull day standing security for a bunch of snooty privileged young nobles, but hey 10gp each will keep you in ale for a few weeks yet! You all head to bed early, to the distant sounds of the beating drums from the latest protest down in the slums, a regular occurrence these days...

Acquire an absolutely absurd accessory array, attack astonishing and arcane adversaries, and ascend above... an alphabestiary.

Vault of the Dracolich

Facilitator:
Jon Ball, Morgan Davie, Scott Kelly, James Plunket, Luke Walker

Deep in the forest of Cormanthor lies the hoard of the dracolich Dretchroyaster, the prize of which is a diamond staff rumored to unlock the secrets of an ancient elven kingdom. The sage Imani is seeking dozens of adventurers to launch an all-out assault on the undead dragon's lair. The dracolich is a powerful foe - too great for even several parties to conquer - so it's going to take all of the heroes' courage, cunning, and speed to survive the dracolich's deadly vault.

This is a game where four groups of adventurers work together to assault the lair of a powerful foe. It is suitable for newcomers and experienced players.

This game takes advantage of the Con format to create an event with a truly epic scope. Though much of the session will run in groups of up to five players, these groups can meet up to share resources and discuss tactics. Adventurers are even able swap groups.

To coordinate the event, there are five DMs, one for each group and the last as the event coordinator. You can also expect handouts, props and poster maps to enhance your experience.

The game uses the latest edition of D&D. The rules both harken back to the simplicity and more casual nature of older D&D and use the consistency and coherence of a modern ruleset. It appeals to fans of all editions and, like this event itself, endeavours to bring them all together.

There will be a range of different mini games on offer, and each group that plays will get to chose which game they would like to play. This is the RPGA game slot, with games running in time with the other game slots. If you have RPGA sanctioned characters please bring them along and I will work them into the games.
